Amber Evans has taught choir in Plano ISD since 2007 where her groups have been consistent sweepstakes winners. Ms. Evans worked as Associate Choir Director at Robinson Middle School with Kimberley Ahrens for five years and is currently serving as Head Choir Director at Murphy Middle School. She has a Bachelor of Music Degree from Millikin University in Decatur, IL where she was the Millikin Young Artist for Cello and a concerto contest winner for voice. In addition, she performed at ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) with the Millikin University Choir in 2007. Amber discovered early on that she loved to travel and since the age of four has traveled with music ensembles over 17 times! Her travels have taken her all over the United States (35/50 states), Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and France. Mama E was honored to be a part of the TYOC 2012 trip to the United Kingdom.
